A Note from The Virtual Wall

Sergeant William Whitlatch was killed in an ambush near the tiny hamlet of Ap Long Lam, about 12 kilometers west-southwest of Luong Son airfield. A posthumous recipient of the Silver Star, he is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville, West Virginia.
