Born to Wayne Miller Wilson and Rena Jo (Hodges) Wilson in Beaver, Oklahoma. A football hero, horseman, and true friend to children and adults of all ages.

Survivors include parents Wayne and Donita Wilson and Rena Jo Wilson, brothers Skipper Bill Wilson and Larry Joe Wilson, sisters Jana and Julie, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hodges and Ben and Maxine (Wilson) Allen, great-grandmother Mrs. Charles McAdams, step-brother Robbie Tague, and step-sisters Renita Tague and Nicki Ryan.

Recommended for the Bronze Star for valorous action in retrieving the body of a radio operator while under enemy fire. Killed in action on Memorial Day May 30, 1969 four miles west of Khe Sanh, South Vietnam.

Laid to Rest in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, Oklahoma, Thursday June 12, 1969.
