Michael,
We graduated from high school together,
and you were drafted one month after I was.
We spent some happy, thought-provoking moments
on the steps of your AIT barracks.
You were too good for this world,
although you didn't deserve to die that way.
I have no doubt that I will see you in Heaven.
We have a lot of things to talk about.
Your memory is an inspiration for me.
