Your friend Klukas laid dying on Hill 996.
He laid under intense enemy fire.
You went to him and died with him.
You were his friend.

Russell was a boy of nineteen.
He did not want to die,
he did not want his parents to suffer his loss.
We will never forget the boy who gave his all.
