I think of you often. You were so young to have your life ended. I am a Grandmother now and often wonder how many children and grandchildren you would have had. Thank you, John, for the ultimate sacrifice so I could live in peace along with so many others.

Love from your cousin

I am not sure if you're my great uncle but I appreciate it that you served in the army and that you are greatly missed and loved.

Uncle John,
I was only 3 when you died. But your sister Donna (my mom) has kept your memory alive through the stories she tells us kids. You were fun and very well liked from what I hear. Thanks for fighting for our country and the freedom of others. Love always, your niece Kari.
