Robert was a second cousin of mine - my mother is Evelyn Antonovich. I was 14 years old when I remember him being killed in Vietnam. It doesn't seem all that long ago that we got the call. I grew up in Cleveland, but always cherished our summer vacations in Calumet and Keewatin (where my dad was from). I loved it so much I went to Hibbing Junior College in 1972. I went back to Calumet a couple years ago, only to see that my grandmother's house had been torn down.

I was happy to see this site ... it makes me feel sad though knowing that Robert's name resides on the Vietnam memorial at such a young age. I have children now older than when Robert died. I am grateful to you and I am sure my mother will be as well when I send her the printout I made from the site. Thank you for caring so...
