17 Mar 2005 I flew gun cover over Frank many times while he hovered over VC base camps and followed their trails through the jungle at tree-top height. He received fire at close range on many occasions. He always kept going back for more. He had a lot of guts. Bob Tenney Mustang 9 roberttenney@msn.com

A Note from The Virtual Wall Two men from D Troop, 1/4th Cavalry, died when their OH-6A helicopter (tail number 66-07926) was hit by a B-40 rocket while on a visual recon mission. The helicopter exploded in flight, and the wreckage landed and burned in the jungle treetops. The men were WO Franklin V. Anderson, Portland, OR SP5 Brent J. Bertsch, Lodi, CA
