AUSTIN SERVICE ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH

SP4 William (Kenny) Austin was born October 25, 1950 at Lebanon, Oregon and graduated from Trout Lake High school in 1969.

Kenneth went into the Army on July 13, 1970. He took his basic training and AIT at Fort Ord, California and went to Vietnam on January 2, 1971. He was killed in Vietnam on September 2, 1971. Instead of flowers, those wishing may contribute to a memorial fund in Kenny's name for something for the Trout Lake School, this to be determined later.

Kenny is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Austin, three sister, Janie Dodge, Vicky and Sue Austin, all of Trout Lake; three brothers, Pvt. Bobby A. Austin at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia and Barry and Scott Austin of Trout Lake. Also his grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Parker of Granger, Washington and Mrs. Lula Austin of Harrison, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17th, at the Mt. Adams Conservative Baptist Church in Trout Lake, Washington at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Trout Lake Cemetery. The Rev. William H. Collier will officiate.
