Our dream was to come back to the real world, and the things we missed dearly. So sorry your sacrifice had to be so great. I hated to see you go and have you branded in my mind forever. A Note from The Virtual Wall On 12-13 July 1969 the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry lost eleven men while working against North Vietnamese troops in the vicinity of Nui Ba Den, the Black Virgin Mountain.
