Steven Bradbury was a great guy to know and serve with. Unlike us draftees, he was a volunteer. Just a great cool guy and sincere friend who will always be sadly missed. Our dream was to come back to the real world, and the things we missed dearly. So sorry your sacrifice had to be so great. I hated to see you go and have you branded in my mind forever.

From a comrade,
