A Note from The Virtual Wall

At 2005 (8:05 PM) on 11 Sep 1966 B Company 1/5 Infantry was hit by 15 rounds of friendly 105mm artillery fire. One man was killed and three seriously wounded by the artillery fire. On 22 Sep one of the wounded died from his injuries. The two dead were
  • SP4 Billy J. Dailey, Moberly, MO (DoW 09/22/1966) and
  • SP4 Earl E. Irving, East St Louis, IL.
