A Note from The Virtual Wall

Between 14-17 March 1968, during Operation CORONADO XI, the 3rd Bn, 47th Infantry was engaged in a riverine assault 6 miles west-southwest of Can Tho. The battalion lost ten soldiers in the fighting:
