Eddie was from Odessa, Texas, an oilfied city near New Mexico. He had enlisted in the Marine Corps and had served one year when he was killed by an explosive device. He was married and was 24 years old at the time of his death. He is remembered on the Permian Basin Vietnam Memorial at the Midland International Airport and on the Ector County Vietnam Memorial. May his sacrifice not be forgotten.
