On May 21, 1966 my uncle was leading a platoon of great men on a mission against the enemy. They were caught in an ambush and fought valiantly. Several from the platoon were killed in action along with Michael, including my uncle.

Each time I visit The Wall in DC I think of all the men who died with my uncle that day. You will not be forgotten.

From the nephew of Michael's Platoon Leader,
John Leonard
