Duffy, I'll never forget your outrageous sense of humor. You said the carp were so big in the lake you could surf on one! Happy trails, brother.

The last I saw of Sgt Duffy alive was when he was looking for his glasses after we hit that mine. The next thing I knew he was being carried on a litter to the medic track. He was a kind young man, a gentle soul. I visit him every time I'm in Cleveland, and weep at his remembrance.
