Jim, we were close buddies all through school, years went by.

And out of the blue I came back to our home town, Prescott, Arizona, and found my best friend, this hit hard, I was there too.

It was a great honor to find you again, you sacrificed the greatest for our freedom, you will never be forgotten, but I will miss the good times we had.

God Bless you, I love you as a dear friend.

As long as I can visit you, you will never be forgotten in my heart.

As all the veterans before you and behind, none will be forgotten by me.

You were one of the greatest to have given all, I was one who gave some and it never ends, Jim, for you and I the war goes on.

I know you are at peace with God now and one day I will join you.

For Ever and Always your Best Friend,
Darrell Kemple, SSG 67-68
