Brown Eyes
I hear the music as you appear
At first it sounds like fusion
But it became crystal clear
As I look into your brown eyes.
I heard a symphony when you expressed
The joy within your heart.
A violin! I confessed,
As I peered into those brown eyes
The castanets could not hide
The pain I felt deep inside.
Each lash was a serenade
from a Spanish guitar,
The lull of an Indian sitar.
Every day my heart dies
When I think of your brown eyes
Shades of honey, marbled glory,
sugar browning,
tells the story,
Of a heart that cries
when I think of your brown eyes.

From his girlfriend,
Jorgette Coleman
