SFC Robert S. Geer is my Great Uncle. Although his military Home of Record was Elizabethtown, Kentucky, he really was from Long Eddy, New York.

In addition, enlisted personnel have the opportunity to establish a new Home of Record every time they re-enlist. In this instance, it would seem SFC Geer chose to list Elizabethtown, Kentucky, just outside Fort Knox, as his HoR. |
