Cornell and I joined the Marine Corps together 23 Nov 1966, and went to Recruit Training together 3 Apr 67. After ITR, we parted ways because of different assignments. I learned of his death in September 68 while in Vietnam. After all these years I still place a flag at the Wall every time I visit the Wall, and I wear his Bracelet.
