The database page for Gary Richard Guest
Gary R. Guest was in my squad. I was his squad leader. He was my first fire team leader and good friend. We were in our fighting hole waiting for the incoming to stop. The last round from the 82-mm recoilless rifle made a direct hit on our hole, Gary was killed instantly and I was severely wounded. This happened 1000 meters from Con Thien up in the hills surrounding the base close to the DMZ. If you want to know more about Gary and his time in my squad you may email me at: cplkitchens@mac.comp Thanks for letting me share this.
