Surf's UP!!

You were the only blonde haired surfer kid we ever had in the squad the whole time I was there. The day you were sent home, I missed the patrol because of a sprained ankle. The ambush was so close to Battalion that it seemed like we were getting hit right outside our tent. I'm just glad you didn't know what hit you. I sure miss your smiling face. We'll meet again on the other side.
