Neil was conscious, although in shock, when we put him on the Medevac. There were Medical people on board and we all thought Neil was going to make it. He died on the operating table only 1/2 hour after leaving us. Some memories are like they happened 10 minutes ago ... Neil's death was one, and it happened 37 years ago. God Bless Neil and all those we lost over there. It's going to be one hell of a party when we muster again! Boot to Boot!
