Rick
I remember as a small child you always being around.

Even though we never had the opportunity to meet, I am sure I would have loved you. I am extremely proud to have carried on your name though I've always thought it was hard to live up to. You made the ultimate sacrifice for your country and our freedom. Your family is proud of your service and selflessness, and we all miss you very much. Should I have a son, my wife and I have decided we will name him Henry Richard also. You are in my prayers and I will continue to revere you and your gift to the nation.

I am the oldest daughter of Christopher L. Brockmeyer. My father tells me you were the best friend he has ever had. I have seen many pictures of you and have heard many stories about you from my family. They all think of you all the time, especially my father. He tells me how much you meant to him and how hard it was for him to cope with what happened. I met your parents at a very young age and remember how nice they were to me. I will carry your pictures with me throughout life and pass them down when I have my own children some day. I will tell them how you risked your life for our freedom and country. My father misses you dearly. He speaks of you often and will continue to do so I'm sure. I wish we could have met.
