Private First Class Roger Lee Hogston was killed in action during a night ambush on 19 Feb 1967. PFC Hogston was killed by an unusual friendly fire incident. He miraculously escaped being KIA in an earlier encounter with enemy forces, on 20 Nov 1966.

PFC Hogston was an outstanding Soldier who gave all on that fateful night of 19 Feb 1967. He will never be forgotten and is sadly missed by me.
