2 April 2003 Richard Hurlihe was my mine clearing "partner" in VietNam, while assigned to my Combat Engineer Battalion in 1967-1969. 24 Jan 2006 I went to high school with Butch. He was a wonderful guy whom I liked very much as a down to earth friend. It is hard to believe that so much time has passed since he died and I still think of him. I guess I was in Panama, enroute to Viet Nam, when he died.
