Dale and I were friends and had served together in CAP 2-7-6, Marble Mountain area, Nui Kim Sohn, Viet-Nam. Our CAP Commander was Sergeant Kern. When Dale left 2-7-6 he went to 2-7-10. During the May-June time frame we had several units get hit hard and personnel were being transferred to the units that were hit to replace those killed and injured.
