A Note from The Virtual WallOn 05 Dec 1965 the USS DYNAMIC, an ocean-going minesweeper, was anchored offshore about 2 kilometers south of Vung Tau. A Joint Task Force Full Accounting report dated 15 Feb 1996 contains the following entry regarding Petty Officer Hyde's death:
His body was not recovered. |
