John was my best friend through grade and high school. He left school to enroll in the Marines, and was killed while I was still a sophomore in college. I served as a pall bearer at his funeral and interment at Mount Vernon.

Now age 50, I still think of John on a daily basis.

Thank you for your support to vets, alive and deceased, and their families and friends.
