A Note from The Virtual Wall

On December 16, 1967, C Company, 1/5 Infantry (Mech), was colocated with the battalion forward base camp in Tay Ninh Province. In late morning a VC force attacked the company with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons. Four members of the company died in the attack, with a dozen or more wounded. The dead were
