25 Jun 2007

There was a son of a serviceman who served with my Uncle who contacted me a few months back and I misplaced your e-mail. You told me your Dad always talked about him and was going to share some stories with me. Please contact me again, as it would be appreciated. Rob

A Note from The Virtual Wall

The 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry, lost three men on 27 Feb 1968:
  • C Company:
    • PFC Arthur W. Herod, Gorham, NY
    • PFC Michael S. Kravchak, Roselle, NJ

  • HQ Company:
    • SP4 Dennis W. Jacobs, San Diego, CA
SP4 Jacobs was a medic and very likely was in the field with Bravo Company - the circumstances of the three deaths are identical.
