Dear George,

You were a quiet and bright "Garden City Kid" who I went to school with from K thru 12th Grade. At Garden City High School you were an accomplished athlete on the varsity football team and after graduation went to Valparaiso University. My friend Van (Spike) and I attended your wake and we both could not believe we had lost you. George, you made the ultimate sacrafice and that, "I will never forget." May you rest in peace, my friend.
