I only knew him for a short while when we were in the hospital in Quin Nhon, Vietnam, in different wards with fevers. He walked around searching for people from our battalion and found me. He was getting better as I was getting worse and he would come by to see what he could do for me - bring me popsicles, etc, when I was unable to get out of bed. He was in a hurry to get back to his unit and left the hospital as soon as he could. A short time later I learned that he had fallen in battle. I have not forgotten you, Api.
