Today is Nov 9, 2002, the day before the 227th Marine birthday and I just found out that Bob had been killed in Viet Nam. I went to high school with Bob in Reno, Nevada.

May God bless his family.

Bob was a good friend of mine while we served together in Charlie Company, 5th Tanks at Camp Pendleton and with Alfa Company, 3rd Tanks in Vietnam. His death hit me like a ton of bricks. I have not recovered yet.

Rest in peace, brave Marine and brother. I will see you in heaven when it's my turn to visit the Big Tank Park in the Sky.
