Julian Ernest Marquez is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Panel 05W Line 107.
Julian was my next younger brother. He wanted to be like me. I had survived 18 months in Vietnam, he would too. We were both infantrymen. He was straight leg, I was Airborne. They recovered a picture that I gave him from his personal effects. I never knew how much I loved him until I had lost him. We who survived live to prove that the sacrifice of our brothers was NOT in vain.
