Classmate, Fellow Marine Vet I knew David and his younger brother Rod in High School Junior Army ROTC in San Diego 1967-69. It is my recollection that David served in place of his brother who was getting married - yet an additional level of sacrifice to his credit. I entered active duty in 1973 and was a Captain of Marines during the final phases of the war. Sorry it took me so long to find this memorial site, Dave, but you have not been, nor ever will be forgotten. I hope one day to see you again on the "other side". Semper Fi.
