A Note from The Virtual Wall

The deaths of 37 American soldiers are associated with heavy fighting near Bong Son on 28-29 January 1966. Twenty men from the 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry, were among the dead; of those, 14 - including Segeant Meroney - were from C Company 2/7.
