Dear Carl,

As an orchestra member you really sucked. As a friend you were the best. I'll always remember the night you couldn't find a right note to save your life, and just when I was about to yell you combed your hair over yor face and put your glasses back on. I laughed all night and still do everytime I think of you.

I became a paramedic. Everytime I had to fly with a patient I cried, all the way out. And thought of you, to help me be brave and care for them all the way back.

Karen

A Note from The Virtual Wall

Two men of D Troop, 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry, died when their AH-1G Cobra (tail number 67-15579) was shot down: They had rolled in on a 14.5mm anti-aircraft site which had fired on a scout helicopter. The Cobra was hit and caught fire while at about 500 feet, then crashed and burned.
