I have recently been made aware of a second casualty of my home town, Point Pleasant, NJ. Richard Nichols is listed as a MOS 52 Bravo, a Power Generator Mechanic and his death is listed as non-hostile. However as my town honored recently a fellow citizen/soldier there seems to be no recognition of Richard's loss in plaques or anything or sadly in the memory of some I asked. His death was no less tragic. I, of course , did not know him or the circumstances of his passing but his death left somebody grieving and that alone mandates entry to The Virtual Wall.
