A Note from The Virtual Wall

In mid-March 1970 A Company, 2/2nd Infantry, lost two men to injuries previously incurred in undefined accidents:
  • SGT Joseph M. Pilotte died on 13 March, and
  • CPT Robert D. Walden died on 15 March.
The casualty records indicate they died in different (though adjacent) Provinces - Pilotte in Binh Duong and Walden in Binh Long - and neither record has the date of injury. The Virtual Wall cannot determine if the two losses are related.
