Vernon has two brothers and three sisters who will always treasure the time we had with him. He gave his life to save his fellow soldiers and I'm sure they will never forget how brave he was. We will always miss him, and never let him be forgotten. Even his nieces and nephews know him, even though they never had the chance to meet him.

Vernon will always be remembered and loved.
