Robert Roy was indeed a special, loving, caring man.
He made those men around him better for knowing him.
He died with honor as he lived.
He is sorely missed by all who knew him.
Had he lived perhaps at least one Marine would not be blaming the world for his own mistakes
and not living in a world of self pity and guilt.

Roy, you are sorely missed by all who knew and loved you. Your Sister and Brother still have an empty place in our hearts for you. You were a good Marine and a better man. There's no doubt you're with your Brother Marines guarding the gates of Heaven. One day we'll walk together in peace, my Brother, when God calls me home.

From his sister.
