I am proud to say that Sam was a friend of mine. I still miss him.
Glen Senkowski
01 Aug 2006 Sam was my best friend in Vietnam and I was flying the helicopter that recovered his body. That memory is still with me. I am helping paint the markings on an AH-1 that Sam no doubt flew in (as did I). It will be put on permanent display at the Veterans Museum in Tampa. Jerry's name will be under the front seat on the right side in memory of his sacrifice.
