To my hero who gave his life to save mine. It's been 31 years today that you gave it your all.You will not be forgotten and you will always be in my heart.
Rest in peace. |
My father Ron knew you back in the time of the Vietnam War. I am making a trip to Washington D.C. with my school in Ohio. I will be honoring you by collecting a rubbing of your name from the Vietnam Wall to put in my D.C. Scrapbook. Anyone who knows this man that died very young - he is a true hero. He not only fought in a war but he gave his life to save another.
From a friend's daughter, |
Gregg, You were to be my second cousin if you would have made it home. I feel sad that we were never able to meet, everyone in our family has talked a lot about you and the good person you were. My father Glenn was there with you in Vietnam. He was lucky enough to make it home, but he never stopped talking about the man you were and how proud he was that the two of you had served your country. Gregg, you will always be a special part of our family history and we will never forget you. You are loved by all of us.
From a second cousion, P.S. To anyone who reads this and would like more information on Gregg, I have some info that might help and lots of family stories about him. |
