I finally found you "Doc", after 35 years.

Now my next mission will be to find your family,
And tell them how very brave you were on top of that hill.
To this day, when my thoughts take me back there,
I still cry inside for your bravery
and will to try to save all your fallen brothers.

You gave your life doing this, and I made a promise
to myself a long time ago that I would get this message home.

Now that I know who you are my mission will soon be over,
but never forgotten!

This I promise!
Johnny Mike
