A Note from The Virtual Wall

On the morning of 19 August 1968 A Troop, 3/4th Cavalry, was ambushed while moving from Cu Chi to Tay Ninh on Highway 26. Elements of the 1st Bn, 5th Infantry, and 4th Bn, 23rd Infantry, were introduced into the fight.
