I wore Lt. Gary Shank's bracelet. On this site I find that his remains were returned along with Michael Fanning's. Can anyone send me information on his family?

A Note from The Virtual Wall

The Joint Task Force-Full Accounting report on LT Shank's loss contains the following information:

The report goes on to say that LT Shank was killed in the incident and his body buried in a local cemetery about 500 meters from the crash site. His remains were repatriated on 17 July 1984 with identification made official on 02 Aug 1984.
