Robert and I were assigned to the same unit in A.I.T. at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Three of us from that unit were then assigned to Co C, 3/8th Infantry. Robert was a quiet guy, but always did what he was told without questioning it. I wish I would have got to know him better, because he was a good man.
You will always be remembered. |
