Skal,
You were my best and only friend.
You were my brother.
I miss your friendship.
My two son's middle names are in your honor, Thomas and Michael.
My family feels as if they know you, because I often speak of you.
I still have your sweater you left at my place. Always will.
See you soon.

My name is Joey Michael Cofer, I was given my middle name after you. You were my father's best friend, and still are after death. They told me I had an imaginary friend when I was younger named Tommy. I believe it was you watching over him and his family. I like to believe you are still there watching over us. I never knew you in person, but the strong love my father has for you makes it seem like you were always there. You will never be forgotten.
