My husband is Staff Sergeant William D. Slade - he is Corporal William Slade's nephew. My husband is named after his uncle, and so too is our eldest son. My eldest son is now 5 years old and is very interested in where his name comes from. We can only tell him very little about that because we know so little.

We would like to obtain information on my husband's uncle .... it is very important to us.
