This is a picture of Larry and me when we were kids.

I miss my brother every day of my life -- you cannot imagine. He was
the best brother in the world. This past Sunday was Larry's birthday
and my Mom just died this past April. I had a dream that they were
together for his birthday and were very happy.

It was such a great dream.

Larry thought of others, not himself.
He volunteered for Vietnam so "his kids didn't have to fight".

God called him home at 19, before he could marry and have kids. He was a nice friend and remembered every July 21st, his birthday.

Larry, my dear friend, it has been exactly 40 years ago today that God called you home. Your service and loss to your grateful nation, as well as to your family and friends, will never be forgotten. I miss you terribly, my dear friend. Semper Fi, Marine. Rest in peace forever.

Your friend,
